Matthew Norwood, CFP® started his career in the financial services industry in 2013 at Vanguard, which currently is the largest provider of mutual funds in the world. During his time at Vanguard, Matt served several different roles that helped shape the way he thinks about client service. Matt spent time working directly with high net worth clients helping them navigate their investment options and matching those options to the client’s financial goals. Matt also spent some time in the education savings group, where he gained knowledge on the topic of college savings. Finally, Matt acted as a consultant in the financial advisor services division where he supported a group of three thousand advisors in South Carolina and Georgia, consulting on practice management, portfolio construction and client education. This allowed him to learn from and take away sound industry practices from advisors with some of the largest books of business in that territory.
Matt is a licensed life and health insurance agent and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
